Keith Humphrey

Keith Lamar Humphrey was born October 21, 1977, to Richard L. Humphrey, and the late Juanita Matthews in Scottsboro, AL. Keith departed this life on Saturday, October 22, 2022, peacefully at home with his family. Keith, affectionately known as “HumpDog” by many of his friends and family, attended North Jackson High School, where he was a standout athlete in football. He worked many years for Safe Tarp/USG, and later took a position at Toyota/Mazda Manufacturing, in Huntsville, AL. Keith was a loving son, brother, friend, and father to his many children. He devoted his life to his children, his fiancé, Brandy, and TN Vols football. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Matthews; brothers, Richard Humphrey, Jr., and Joseph Humphrey; Grandparents, Herbert and Susie Lee Humphrey, and Sadie Mae and Alvin Matthews, Sr.; Aunts, Leola Humphrey; Elizabeth Washington; Katie Kelly; Ola Hutchins; Viola Gaines; and Chaney Ann Matthews; Uncles, Herbert Humphrey, Jr.; Hubert Humphrey; Otto Humphrey; Edward Humphrey; Freddie Humphrey; Ronnie Matthews, Sr.; Carl Matthews; and Paul Hutchins. Visitation will be Saturday October 29, 2022 from 12-1 and the funeral service will be 1 PM on Saturday from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson
