Larry Douglas Hampton age 51 of Powell AL passed away September 21. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Hampton; mother, Shirley Hampton; children, Dawn Hampton, Crystal Hampton, and Cavin Hampton; grandchildren, Clayton “Fred” Wilson, Marthanniel “Turtle” Wilson, Melody “Jelly Bean” Hampton, Madox “Cricket” Wilson, Coraline “Button” Sullivan, and Oaklyn “Rosebud” Wilson; brother, Paul Hampton; sister, Becky Hampton Garner; mother in law, Jayne Walters; brother in law, B.J. (Ashlie) Chesser; nephews, Isaiah Garner and Eli Chesser; nieces, Jade Chesser and Cheyenne Chesser. He was preceded by his father, Larry Hamptoon; son, Johnathon Hampton; father in law, Ronald Chesser; brother in law, Ronald “Shorty” Chesser. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Thursday September 24, 2020 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Price Cemetery.
