Lawrence Quentin Edwards was born on October 30, 1960 to the late Mr. James Lee Edwards and Mrs. Robbie Lee Edwards. Lawrence resided in Scottsboro and passed away June 30, 2026, at Highlands Medical Center at the age of 65. Lawrence was known as Quin and Dad. Quin was a life long resident of Scottsboro. He graduated from Scottsboro High School. After graduation, Quin became devoted to his community, industry, and food service. Quin was a member of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Stevenson, AL. Quin was preceded in death by his parents, James and Robbie Lee Edwards; brother, Samuel Lee Edwards. Quin leaves to carry his legacy, his son, Xavion Edwards of Scottsboro; sisters, Gloria (James) Liggins of Stevenson and Brenda (Robert) Sexton of Scottsboro; brother, James Edwards; aunt, Linda Tucker; uncle, Billy Tucker, all who reside in Scottsboro, AL and a host of cousins, family, and friends. Funeral services were held 1 PM Monday July 6, 2026 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
