Obituary William Lebron Lankford was born in Stevenson, Alabama on October 23, 1956 to William & Legusta Lankford. On May 31st, 1991, he married the love of his life, Stephanie Buckner Lankford. To this union, one son was born, Pockett Brandale Lankford. Faith Lebron faithfully attended New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor William H. Langford for many years. He most recently accepted Christ as his Lord & Savior on July 12, 2022 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Alabama. Education & Life Skills Lebron was a 1974 graduate of Stevenson High School in Stevenson, Alabama. He enlisted in the United States Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, he later was employed with Shaw Industries in Stevenson, Alabama. He worked there for many years until he became disabled. Family Lebron was preceded in death by his father, William “Son” Lankford & Brother: Willie Lewayne Lankford. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Stephanie Buckner Lankford of Stevenson, Alabama (2) children: Pockett (Ashley) Lankford of Jefferson, Georgia; and Chaz (Asha) Lankford of Chattanooga, Tennessee. (4) Grandchildren: Liam & Zoe Lankford of Jefferson Georgia; and Christian & Ashantiona Lankford of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mother: Legusta Lankford of Stevenson, Alabama ; Sister: Mona (Lewis) Powell of Nashville, Tennessee; Brother: Tommy (Rhonda) Lankford of Johnson City, Tennessee. Sister-In-Laws: Betty (Jimmy) Wordlaw, Belinda Jackson of Stevenson, Alabama & Patty Lankford of Bridgeport, Alabama. (2) Special Cousins: Valerie Bynum & Teresa Lankford. A host of special Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, and extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
