Lewis Ward

Lewis Ward age 90 passed away October 24, 2025. He is survived by his children, Richard (Lisa) Ward and Teresa (Mark) Hoover; grandchildren, Tisha (Chad) Gravitt and Chris (Emily) Ward; great grandchildren, Chance, Noah, and Aaden Gravitt; sisters, Betty Beasley, Joyce (John) Trenthem, Ruby (Bill) Brooks, Norma (Michael) Bumgarner, Eva (Bryan) Jones, and Kim (Ronnie) Austin; brother, Paul (Linda) Ward; special friend, Leonia Kilgore; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his mother, Montez Denton; father, Clifton (Eva Nell) Ward; wife, Gladys Ward; sister, Barbara Dillard; brother, Herman Ward. Visitation will be Monday from 2-7 and the funeral will be 1 PM Tuesday October 28, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the St Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport with Doyle Chamblee and Tony Hammontree officiating.
