Loretta Barbee

Loretta Barbee age 77 of Stevenson passed away August 10, 2024. Loretta worked man years as a beautician at Ideal Beauty Shop on Main Street in Stevenson. She later was employed with the City of Stevenson, where she retired as the Museum Director at the Stevenson Railroad Depot Museum. Loretta is survived by her husband, Jay Barbee; brother, Steve (Donna) Roberts; nephews, Paul (Misty) Roberts and Adam (Brittney) Roberts; niece, Sara (Ray) Bearden; sister in law, Betty Maynor; brother in law, Vernon (Bobbye) Barbee. She was preceded by her son, Ron Barbee; parents, Sanders and Sarah Roberts; brothers in law, Bud, Mac, and Prince Barbee. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday August 14, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Stevenson City Cemetery.
