Louise Grider age 102 of Stevenson passed away February 12, 2025. James and Louise served the community for over 28 years operating the Stevenson Roller Rink and Carwash from 1966-1994. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stevenson. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Watson; son, Jimmy (Susie) Grider; daughter in law, Kay Grider; grandchildren, Celena (Randy) Gilliam, Jeff (Amy) Watson, Kim Watson (Jeff) Killen, Brent (Dez) Grider, Lisa (Danny) Higgins, Todd, Kielah, Jamie, Heather, and Chad Grider; several great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren; sisters, Orene Drigger and Bethel Mitchell. She was preceded by her husband, James “Wormie” Grider; parents, William and Janie Abney; son, William Grider; siblings, Harvey, John, Billy, and Delmous Abney, Syl Shrader, Betty Jane Denny, Bessie Tease, and Edna Fisher. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 1 PM Friday February 14, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Stevenson City Cemetery with Ron Namanny officiating.
