Mamie Shepherd

Mamie Jane Shepherd, 70, of Scottsboro, Alabama, died June 15, 2021, surrounded by family and loved ones. She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband Lawrence Shepherd; her devoted son, Kevin Shepherd; daughter-in-law, Debra Shepherd; and grandson, Dakota William Shepherd. Additionally, she leaves behind her loving sister-in-laws, Penny, Peggy, and Louise. She also leaves behind her father, Edward Jr. Collins; two brother Charles Edward and Shirley Collins and Stevie Collins; and two sisters, Dorthy Ann Davidson and Rita and Rodney Campbell. She will reunite with her mom, Ruthean, and her two brothers, James C and Rodney C. If you would like to leave a donation for the funeral costs, please leave it to Abbas House of Worship. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 1 PM Thursday June 17, 2021 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Wilbanks  and Daryl Gamble officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
