Mary Fay Swinford Barksdale age 74 of Scottsboro passed away Friday March 1, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Rowland Barksdale; children, Sara Fay (Bobby Ray Jr.) Roberts and Brock Benjamin (Stephanie) Barksdale; grandchildren, Austin Ray Roberts, Xavier Barksdale, and Joshua Barksdale; brothers, Steven Swinford and Bobby Lafary; sister, Cindy Daughtery; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, Charles and Pauline Fay Swinford. Visitation will be on Friday from 12-1:45 and a graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday at the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Ryan Johnson officiating.
