ParaLee Lankford

ParaLee “Goodney” Lankford age 85 of Stevenson AL gained her wings Thursday January 14, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Robert Allison and Hannah Allison. She was a life long resident of Stevenson AL. She was a devoted member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Shaw Industries. Ms. ParaLee was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and neighbor. She had a selfless heart always wanted to share what she had. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Allison; mother, Hannah Allison; daughter, JoAnn Lankford; and son, Toney Lankford. She is survived by her son, Ken (Debra) Lankford; grandsons, Courtney (Senia) Lankford, Kevin (Tasha) Lankford, Craig Sims, and JaJuan Lankford; granddaughters, Latoya (Josh) Branford, Tonya Lankford, and Jonjalyn Smith; honorary granddaughters, Danyele Smith and Amber Wells; step, Kayla Sharpton and Devin Richardson; 10 great grandchildren; special sisters she never had, Ms. Cheryl Evans and Ms. Linda Robinson; a host of family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 20, 2021 from 11- 12:45 with a graveside service following at 1 PM at the Stevenson Community Cemetery.
