In loving memory of Betty Stevens. Precious Darnell Stevens was born October 17, 1941 in Stevenson, AL. She departed her life on October 25, 2024 at her home with children and family by her side. She was a member of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Stevens; her parents, Henry and Cora Eldridge; sons Jeffery and Doug Stevens; grandson, Tyrone Moore; siblings, Johnny Eldridge and Martha Cobb. She is survived by two loving daughters, Mary and Juanita Stevens; grandchildren, Kandra (Brian) Wellington, Isom Moore, and Tasha (Trent) Johnson; great grandchildren, Gara and Little Brian Wellington, Tearra, Ashlin, Taleia, Jaden, and Acacia Moore, and Trenity Johnson. Visitation will be Saturday from 12-1 and the funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday November 2, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Stevenson Community Cemetery.
