Reita Joyce Campbell, 93, of Bridgeport, AL passed away on March 27, 2025 in Bridgeport, AL. Reita was born in Bridgeport, AL to Sallie Sparkman and JB Rorex on November 1, 1931. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1950. She went on to attend college at Middle Tennessee State University then eventually Trevecca Nazarene University where she received her degrees in teaching. For 37 years, Reita fulfilled her life’s passion of being a school teacher. Reita was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, aunt, and teacher. Reita is preceded in death by her Mother, Sallie Sparkman; Father, JB Rorex; Husband, William Richard Campbell Sr.; Sons, Terry and Jerry Campbell; Granddaughter, Erin Phillips; and her 9 Brothers and Sisters. Reita is survived by her Sons, William Richard Campbell Jr. ( Jean) and Roger Campbell; Daughters, Lisa Campbell and LaShaunda Campbell (Daniel); Grandson, William Tyler Campbell; Granddaughters, Ryan Burton (Brent) and Melanie Phillips; Great-Grandson, Andrew Burton; and Great-Granddaughters, Kinley Burton, Isabella Flores, and Ricky Sandifer. A memorial for close family will be held at a later date.
