Rita Joy “Granny Bett” Stubblefield age 87 of Sherwood passed away June 10, 2023. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Don) Rich and Vickey Summers; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Hodosi, Jason (Tara) Rich, Julie (Jake Bailey) Rich, Lindsay and Logan Stubblefield; great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Ayden Hodosi, Hunter, Jocelyn, Ella, and Briggs Rich, Brianna Garner, Jackson Phillips, and Brenlynn Stubblefield; brother, Joe (Marr) Temples; sisters, Princess Sample and Janice Laxton; special friend of the family, Geraldine Arnold. She was preceded by her parents, John D. and Lucille Temples; husband, W.D. Stubblefield; son, Glenn David Stubblefield; granddaughter, Amy Stubblefield; sisters, Mollie Goff, Johnnie Stover, Tina Dobbins, and Irma Archey. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 4 PM Wednesday June 14, 2023 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt View Cemetery in Sherwood with Danny Cunningham officiating.
