Robert Wayne Dillard “Homebrew” was born on June 12, 1955 in Scottsboro, AL. He departed his life on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. He was the son of Homer L. Dillard and Flora V. Dillard who both preceded him in death. He also was preceded by a sister, Janice R. Snodgrass and a brother, Billy R. Dillard. Robert Wayne Dillard or Homebrew as he was affectionately known, was just Homebrew and would do anything for anyone only if he liked you. Homebrew loved to play his guitar and is harmonica. He loved to sing and have jokes but most of all he loved his alone time. He was loved by so many people. He loved to go fishing and anything that involved wildlife before his legs began to hurt him. You would see him on his bike all the time. His memory will always live on and be cherished and missed by so many. Loved ones include a son, Chris (April) Provens; daughters, Pamela Provens and Melissa Watts; brothers, Jeffery (Ann) Dillard, Larry Dillard, Johnny (Linda) Dillard, LeRoy Dillard, and James Dillard; sisters, Evelyn Dillard, Connie Middleton, and Undrea Dillard. He also leaves to cherish his memories, a host of grandkids, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, God brothers, great friends, God sisters, and a host of uncles and aunts. Visitation will be Monday from 2-3 and the funeral will be 3 PM Monday May 23, 2022 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Cobb Cemetery in Woodville with Minister Sharee Robinson officiating.
