Robert Vernon “Sonny Boy” Wright age 74 of Scottsboro passed away March 14, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Wright; children, Missy (Gary Cooper) Wright, Edmund Devor, Daniel Devor, and Amanda (Tony Sopha) Devor; grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, Alex, Joshua, Ryan, Devon, Robert, Dixie, Delilah, and Kiley; great grandchildren, Luke and Oliver; brother, Terry (Jettie) Wright. He was preceded by his parents, Vernon and Ivalene Wright; brother, David Wright; grandson, Lucas Devor. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 and the funeral will be 11 AM Saturday March 18, 2023 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Skyline Cemetery with Terry Wright officiating.
