Roger Steele

Roger Steele age 70 of Scottsboro passed away January 19, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Steele; sons, Brian (Cindy) Steele and Brett (Holly Gray) Steele; siblings, Mary Evelyn (Bill McKee), Paul (Judy) Steele, Pete (Joyce) Steele, and Dianne (Tony) Rogers; grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron) Blevins, Chrissy Adkins, Tyler, Talon, Braxton, and Dewey Steele, and Jackson and Tabitha Manor; great grandchildren, Gracie, Paisley, Dawson, Colt, and Elijah Blevins, Avianna and Kagen Adkins; step sons, Chris (Donna) Hinkle, Michael (Talona) Hinkle, and Joey (Stephanie) Hinkle. He was preceded by his parents, Mary and Dewey Steele; wife, Kathy Batey Steele; sisters, Freida Lowery, Catherine Steele, Shirley (W.C.) Thomas; brothers, George, Donald, Ronald, and Gary Wayne Steele; nephews, Nick Thomas and Paul C. Steele. Visitation will be Thursday 11-1 and the funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday January 21, 2021 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Brandon Gamble and Joel Shiflett officiating.
