Sammy Sanders age 83 of Stevenson passed away May 1, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Margie Sanders; son, Wayne Holcomb; step daughter, Marlene Waldrop; brother, Billy Gordon (Elaine) Sanders; grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Holcomb, Taylor (Sandra) Holcomb, and Blake (Patty) Holcomb; great grandchildren, Kaden, Xander, Asher, Anna, Tyson, Kinsley, and Kye Holcomb. He was preceded by his parents, Sam and Grace Sanders; brothers, Jimmy and Eddie Sanders; step son, James Waldrop. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8 and the funeral will be 1 PM Monday May 4, 2026 from the Valley Funeral Home in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
