Sarah Billings Obituary

Sarah Elizabeth Billings, 28, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on September 6, 2021, in Huntsville, Alabama. Celebration of life will be from 12-2 PM on September 10, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro, AL. Sarah was born in Huntsville, AL on November 9, 1992 to Tersa Miniclier and Russ Billings. She went to Hazel Green/Paint Rock Valley High School and continued to receive an AAS degree from Calhoun Community College. Sarah's passion was music and she organized multiple music festivals that promoted numerous bands and artists. She was known for her giving nature and ability to blaze her own way in this world. Sarah enjoyed kayaking, music events, hiking, rescuing animals and most of all learning. She rescued numerous animals and always made space in her home for pets in need. Sarah is survived by her child (Marlee Rae Eidson); her father and mother (Russ Billings and Laura Sellers, Tersa Miniclier and Jack Miniclier); her siblings (Whitney Sitzler, Adam Sitzler, Jessica Billings Campbell, Alexandria Miniclier, Madiline Miniclier, Krista Thomas, Shane Thomas); her grandparents (Jay and Penny Billings, Jim and Carol Barber, Donna Dickerson, David and Georgia Hamby and many cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ark Inc. Shelter or Greater Huntsville Humane Society in her honor.
