Sarah Kathryn Smith

Sarah Kathryn “Blicker” Smith passed away August 26, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Buford Ray Smith; daughters, Lynette (Darren) McCloud, Carol (Lamar) Allison, and Alicia Lawson; grandchildren, Bridget (Drew) Meeks, Kristen (Colton) Sampson, Kaitlin McCloud, Courtney (Kyle) Summers, Micah (Paige) McCloud, Sean McCloud, and Gavin Lawson; great grandchildren, Eli Meeks, Jordan Meeks, Jake Meeks, Kobe Meeks, Adalynn McCloud, Kinsley McCloud, Easton Summers, and Beau Sampson. She was preceded by her parents, Jake and Ada Cooper; siblings “Tooter” Cooper Darrel Cooper, Dub Cooper, Pete Cooper, Peewee Cooper, Ed Cooper, and Alice Smith; son in law, Thomas Lawson. Blicker was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved everybody and you always had a place at her table. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 and the funeral will be 3 PM Tuesday August 31, 2021 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga.
