Scott Etherton age 39 of Section passed away January 9, 2026. He is survived by his children, Brantley and Rylee Etherton; parents, Cecil and Denise Etherton; sister, LeAnna (Josh) Cornelison; brother, Wade (Raeah) Etherton nieces and nephews, Jamon, Gentry, Allie Rae, Justin, Julie, and Chloe; great niece and nephew, Indie Kate and Jasper; a host of friends. He was preceded by his grandparents, Willie E. and Thelma R. Etherton, Bobby Tarver, and Sharon Tarver. A celebration of life will be held Saturday January 17, 2026 from 2-8 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro.
