Shelli Purdy age 43 of Stevenson passed away Saturday January 14, 2023. She is survived by her fiancé, Jeff Jones of Scottsboro, AL; mother, Elaine Purdy Guess of Stevenson, AL; sisters, Melissa (Joe Eckloff) Matthews of Stevenson, AL and Donnelli (Mike) Matthews of Broadway, NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded by her grandparents, Clebert and Jewell Purdy; father, James D. “Doug” Guess, brothers, Jamie Guess, Eddie Falls, and Chris Kerr, Sr. Visitation will be 1-8 on Tuesday and the funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday January 18, 2023 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Long Acre Cemetery.
