Sonja Doss

Sonja Doss, daughter of Marie Doss and Leroy Doss. The sunrose on May 6, 1966 and the sunset on April 6, 2022. Sonja was proceeded in death by father, Leroy Doss. Brothers, Garrett Kelly, Anthony Kelly, and Kenneth Kelly. She became a Christian at a very young age and was first a member of Greater St. Paul AME church of Scottsboro, Alabama. She would remain a faithful member until later years when she relocated to Huntsville, Alabama. She would continue her Christian relationship over the years and even join a gospel singing group “The Gospel Voices of Praise”. Along with her sister Marnathal Kelly and other close friends they would come together and sing Gods praises all over the state of Alabama. Over the last 3 years of her life she would become a devoted member of Blackburn Chapel CPCA of Huntsville, Alabama. Sonja Loved the and would eventually join the choir and continue to give God his praise. Sonja leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving mother, Marie Doss. Two sons, Terrell Humphrey and Antoine Gilbreath. One grandchild Karson Smith. Two brothers, Bobby Fennell, and Chris Doss. One sister Marnathal Kelly. Seven nephews, Tarence Bailey, Tevin Bailey, Fred Simpson, Kaden Bryce Dawson, Gavin Deshawn Wells, Ja’ corian Leslie, and Lorenzo Watkins Jr. Six nieces, Mia Kelly, Deshawna Bibbs, Imoni Doss, Lea Simpson, Ky’nija Leslie, Je’riya Swopes. A few close friends of many, Wanda Fennell, Valarie Battles, Tamika Clay, Brittany Kloth, Andrita Pope, Demetrius Jones, and last but not least Jase, Payton, and Blakely Kloth.
