Sue Kelly (Capps) Barrett, 84, of Bridgeport, AL passed away on Friday, May, 9, 2025. She loves to talk on the phone and spend time with her beloved dog, Hotchie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard And Blanche Capps, her companion of 27 years, Donald Kirk, her son-in-law, Shorty Stapler, and her dog, Hotchie. Surviving family includes her children, Theresa Stapler, Deborah (Ellis) Lang, John (Robin) Barrett, and Jim (Amy) Barrett; One brother, Jimmy (Etta) Capps; grandchildren, Brenna Boman, Brooke (Brad) Cody, Kellie McBrayer (Greg), Brandon Barrett, Brent Barrett, Haley Barrett, Lacey (Ethan) Weatherspoon, Beau Barrett, and Jaxx Barrett; 16 great-grand children and one on the way; Nephews, Michael Capps and Nathan (Jennifer) Capps. We want to thank all of Mama’s friends that cooked, cleaned, and spent time with her. Our family will miss the phone calls, pecan pies, potato candy, and random sayings from her.
