Taylor Monique Hawkins, of Meridianville, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, at the age of 33. Taylor was a remarkable person — honest, kind-hearted, and deeply loved by everyone who knew her. She was an amazing wife, a devoted mother, and proudly a momma’s girl. She always had a bright smile and never met a stranger. Taylor loved everyone and had a heart for helping as many people as she could. She always put others first, showing her love through her actions and her unwavering support. She graduated from North Jackson High School and worked at Cattle Stampede for many years. She was attending college for Accounting and aspired to enter real estate to further help her community. Taylor enjoyed playing video games in her free time and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Karl Moore; her brother, Kevin Provens; her grandfather, Dennis Hawkins; and her grandmothers, Lois Morris and Martha Hawkins. Taylor is survived by her wife, Courtney Hawkins; her sons, Odin and Camden; her mother, Monica Moore; her sisters, Mikayla Moore and Brittany Provens; and her grandmothers, Marilyn Hawkins and Bobbie Moore. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward. Visitation will be 12-1 on Wednesday and the service will be 1 PM Wednesday July 16, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with Blake Earl and Ed Woods officiating.
