Teresa joined the Cedar Grove Second Cumberland Presbyterian Church on September 17, 2023 and transitions October 10, 2023. Teresa loved to cook desserts, dance, and spend time with family. She is survived by: Husband Derrick Hawkins. Children Dajerra Hawkins and Diaz Hawkins, Parents Larry and Gwendolyn Smith, Sister Tracey Smith, her children, and grandchild, Brother, Travis Smith, his children, and grandchildren of Stevenson, AL, as well as host of cousins and close friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded by: Grandparents, James and Betsy Smith and Samuel and Lucille Mitchell. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-1 and the funeral will be 1 PM Thursday October 19, 2023 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Cross Cemetery.
