Tommie Leon Stevens age 74 of Sherwood TN passed away June 16, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Stevens; son, Dwayne (Patricia) Stevens; daughters, Lisa (Kenneth) Hill, Beverly (Alan) Mackey, and Patricia (Danny) Nunley; grandchildren, Jeremy (Katie) Hill, Joshua (Bonnie) Hill, Jenna (Ryan) Ridge, Felicia (Nathan) Wanuch, Dillon Stevens, Leah Stevens, Lana (Matt) Sullivan, Rachel (Blake) Smith, Alex Mackey, Steven (Nikki) Nunley, and Ryan (Rachel) Nunley; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Lonnie Stevens, Johnny (Sandy) Stevens, and Jimmy (Bea) Stevens; sisters, Susie (Billy Jack) Johnson and Janice Lappin; step father, Robert Caldwell. He was preceded by his mother, Annie Caldwell; father, Tommie Stevens; step mother, Bertha Stevens; brother, Jackie Stevens. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Tuesday June 19, 2018 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt View Cemetery in Sherwood Tn. with Bro. Ray Winton and Bro. Johnny Stevens officiating. Tommie was an elder at the Sherwood Church of Christ. He retired from CSX Railroad after 34 years of service. He enjoyed farming raising cattle, gardening, and spending time with his family.
