Tommy Lee Doss

Tommy Lee Doss age 82 passed away September 12, 2018. Mr. Doss was born on Jan. 22, 1936, To Milton and Emma L.Doss of Stevenson Al. Preceding him in death was his Sister Edna Reddrick, of Akron Oh.  Tommy’s Sister Willie H Tipton is living in Chattanooga Tn. Tommy is survived by multiple children and Family and friends who loved and adored him. Tommy was raised in the Church.

Tommy went into the USA Air Force in 1954 to 1957. He worked in the military as a fireman.  Tommy returned to civilian life as a fire fighter in Washington DC.

In 1982 Air Florida 90 crashed into a bridge in Washington DC then plunged into the Potomac River. Tommy and his fire department rescued many survivors. Tommy will be greatly missed.
