Vilena Johnson

Vilena Johnson age 73 of Fackler, AL went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 12, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Denford Johnson; daughter, Robbin (Scott) Rodgers; son, Denford Lee Johnson II; grandchildren, Brittany Rodgers, Mallory (Cassidy) Woodall, Craig (Hannah)Corbitt, Adam Willmon, and Garret (Magan) Willmon; great grandchildren, Grayson Woodall, Riggs Woodall, Anna Corbitt, Zoey Willmon, Aubree Willmon, and Piper Willmon; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Maie Smith; brothers, Glenn, Mitchell, and Havel Smith; sisters, Mursey Riddle-Ackers, Honey Riddle, Hazel “Dolly” Wilson, Myrtle Edde, and Ola Bell Dunn; daughter in law, Shelia Johnson. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 and Saturday from 9-11 and the funeral will be 11 AM Saturday August 19, 2023 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Austell Cemetery with Marvin Morrow officiating.
