Vincent Lee “V-Rob” Robinson passed from this life January 1, 2026. His life was a gift entrusted to the Late Loyal Dave and Arlene Martin Robinson. He graduated from Bridgeport High School where he discovered his passion for sports. During his high school career, he was honored as All County Baseball, All State in football as well as Mr. Basketball. Vincent continued his basketball career at Memphis State before transferring and completing his education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In 1988, he was honored for his contribution to Moc’s Southern Conference Championship. In 2014, he was among the first class inducted into Jackson County Hall of Fame. Vincent was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, John D. and Novella Martin; paternal grandparents, Tom C and Mattie L. Robinson. He leaves to honor his memory, his mother, brother; Tyrone (Carla) Robinson; sister, Ceceilla (Durand) Wilson; sons, Jermell and Terrel Robinson; daughter, Kelsey Robinson; grandchildren, Arianna, Adrianna, Alannah, Antonio, Jr., Amiyalah, Antoine, Anzlee, Ahnest, Arilyn, Armour, and Azarin; several nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday from 11-1 and the funeral will be 1 PM Saturday January 10, 2026 at the Bridgeport First Baptist Church.
