Wade Kirk

Stephen Wade Kirk age 56 of Rogersville, AL, formerly of Stevenson, AL passed away at his home September 2, 2022. He was a 1983 graduate of Stevenson High School where he was in the top 10 in his class. He attended University of AL for one year, then joined the U.S. Navy and served for 10 years. He worked for ESI a contractor and was at Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant for the last several years. He had to leave his job in March of this year because of his health. He is survived by a son, Jonathan Madison; mother, Linda Kirk; brothers, Mark and Craig Kirk; uncles, Larry Kirk and Richard (Anne) Kirk; aunts, Carolyn Thomas and Jane Thomas. He was preceded by his dad (by 3 months) John Kirk; grandparents, John and Lorene Kirk and Arthur and Kate Thomas; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. A graveside service will be held 1 PM Thursday September 8, 2022 at the Mt Carmel Cemetery with Bro. Houston Thomas officiating.
