William Langford Obituary

William H. Langford resident of Stevenson, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 1, 2021. William was born and raised in Stevenson Alabama, and graduated from GW Carver High School in Scottsboro, AL. He was a retiree of Shaw Industrials in Stevenson, AL; and Combustion Engineering of Chattanooga; and retired from being the pastor at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church due to his failing health. He was a pastor for 30 years, and was a faithful servant for the Lord. He always told someone about Jesus wherever he went. Pastor Langford touched the lives of so many people, and his legacy will live on forever. He will forever be remembered and loved by his devoted wife of 55 years: Timmie Cole Langford of Stevenson, AL; (2) Loving Daughters: Sharma (Randy) Wordlaw, of Stevenson AL ; Lakeisha (Tarvis) Wortham of Powder Springs, GA; (4) Treasured Grandchildren: Cordero & Ashia Wordlaw of Stevenson, AL; Tristen & Trinity Wortham of Powder Springs, GA; (2) Sisters: Maureen Ferns of Triana, AL; and Maggie Teague of Stevenson, AL; (1) Brother: Grady Langford of Stevenson, AL The Graveside Celebration will be held at Long Acres Cemetery on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:30 pm (cst) in Stevenson, Alabama.
