Charles Edward Mackin

Charles Edward Mackin, age 73 of Jasper, TN, passed away Monday March 16, 2015.  He was a Stevenson High School graduate and a Vietnam Vet from 1966-1968.
 
Mr. Mackin was preceded by his parents - Charlie and Addie Mackin; grandparents - Pete and Joanna Mackin and James and Willie Rush; brother - Ray Hammon; sons - Alan and Matthew Mackin; nephew - Randall Clark.  
 
He was survived by sons, Ed Mackin of Knoxville and Rob Mackin of Florida; daughter - Lisa Mackin; grandson - Rob Mackin, Jr.; sisters - Linda Owen of Jasper and Kathy (John) Patrick of Bushnell, Florida; brother - James (Margaret) Hammon.
 
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 5-9 and the funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, March 19, 2015 from the Valley Funeral Home in Stevenson. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga.  Danny Rader will officiate.
